I really want to buy a pressure washer but I'm not sure I should buy the one that's on QVC.

I have a white vinyl fence and siding, etc. that is in great need of cleaning. Does anyone here own one or have any idea which brand to buy. No gas ones please! TIA

I went through 2 of those electric plastic power washers in just a couple years with only using them a few times each. They started leaking so badly it was frustrating. I bought a gas powered Troy-bilt about 5 years ago and it's still working like a charm.

I have a Greenworks that I got at Lowe's a few years ago. Only paid about $99 and it works great.

I would NEVER buy something like a power washer off a shopping channel. All local stores carry them! We got a commercial grade one from Costco several years ago and it works like a pro!

I went through several on Q until I learned that AR Blue is better than Karcher and I wouldn't get a TSV if it was a special edition. These things break down. Go read the reviews all over the web

I will say, if you run it 15 min or less, it will last. I stupidly lent mine out to an older friend who was an engineer. I shoulda known, engineers do not listen to what you have to say, they go by their knowledge of machinery. I told him, don't run it long, the motor is weak, but he ran it long and returned it burnt out and didn't say a word. I think he was embarrassed. Too good a friend to worry about the machine being toast, but...forewarned is forearmed.

I might add, since the untimely death of my pressure washer, I wash the vinyl deck railings with a big ol scrub brush and a garden hose.
