What is that glass panel for?  Is it decorative or something else?  It's hard for me to tell...

That is a horrible room, wherever you put the painting.  Looks like the inside of a garage, and not a very nice garage at that.

It doesn't bother me ... but I would like to see it in context in the entire room.

Over my (long) couch, I have two related Thai temple rubbngs.  One horizontal, and one vertical.  They are placed at each end of the counch with a narrow vertical mirror centered between them.

I am not crazy about the room colors.  I like brown and neutrals, but I think more variety of brown, cream, white and maybe a pop of another color here and there are needed.

I do see balance, and I like it.  The taller lamp and pillow on the couch on one side, and the shorter table with the bird thing or whatever that is on the other side.  The picture sort of balances with the shorter table/bird thing, and taller lamp and pillow on the other side.

I like it the way it is but I would be sorely tempted to put something going kind of horizontal in a fairly good size in black,  copper, or golden metal.....like a  horse or something.

Oh, I don't like a thing about this room.....nothing!  and I can hardly stand to look at it w/that picture being off center!  OCD!

Not appealing to me.

I wouldn't.  LOL

I would put something rectangular over that couch, not square.  I like things centered too.

I love the coffee table!

@ALRATIBA  I would like to see it in the context of the whole room too.
