I thought you might like to know that you gave me the courage to tackle machine quilting of a queen size quilt. I have seen and been amazed, of course, when I have seen some others, but never tackled it myself. Throw size, yes. No problem with those. Well, anyhow, I have been working on it for almost a week now and it's coming along! A pain to do but definetly faster than by hand with a hoop!

My sister is old school. She quilts by hand. All of her quilts she has shown have won first place and or best of show. Now she is thinking about doing machine quilting. She is worried though about losing the integrity of hand quilting that is our heritage. I would really love to see a picture of your quilt when completed.

I bet your sister does beautiful work, moxie, to win first place or best of show. It has been a dream of mine to someday put one of my quilts in maybe a local county fair, but the more I see of people's work, the more I think it will be just a dream of someday~
