Not showing much of the finials but they go well anyway you use them, I think.  Sometimes I don't worry about scale & just go with the things that I like.  :-)

lucy, Your photos are so pretty.  I like what you used together here.  I wonder why your pics are showing up stretched out of proportion on my screen?

Hi shopr, this one was taken from the end view because of the mirror.  Is it all of my pictures or just this one?

lucy, I see two pics of yours on this thread, the second is of your table, and they both seem a little skinny but stretched from top to bottom.  I looked on two different computers to be sure.  I wonder if this has something to do with the new forum format, and how it seems to automatically size photos to fit the reply windows.  Just mentioning it because this setup is so new to me and I haven't seen any other pics that appeared like yours.  Strange.

From Pinterest:

European kitchen vignette. Since the upper cabs are so tall in the kitchen, and to break up the monotony of all that solid surface, this would add charm! Remove solid doors, add these shutters and drawers, and decorate! --Meggie

I don't know why that happened.  They looked fine when I posted them.  I have my size set to medium maybe I should change that.  What size do you set yours for?

My text is set at large, lucy.  Maybe it's just one of those random strange things we will have to learn to deal with in using the new forums.

The pic is out of focus as well.  I don't know.  When you upload a pic it has a setting for full size, medium & large, I think.  Mine has been on med and worked fine on all but those two.  Next time I'll do full size and see what it does.  Someday, we'll get this all figured out.  I think we've done well so far.
