I never use dryer sheets.

I do not use anything with laundry fragrance.
Fabric softeners, sheets and other laundry products with additives coat your washer, dryer and clothing with oils and wax.
In addition the chemicals cause respiratory, lung problems and allergic skin breakouts and nervous system damage. They also can cause cancer over a period of time.

I hate scented laundry products and Febreeze is the worst! I've never used dryer sheets, but I do use wool dryer balls now. I'm not sure if they really make any difference, but they are easy enough to use.

@SilleeMee My regular detergent is scented, and it's not a strong fragrance. I wanted to try a new detergent for a change. I've used the scented dryer sheets also without a problem. It's when I added the new detergent that's scented along with the dryer sheets that made the fragrance overwhelming. As I mentioned, I'm going back to my regular detergent.

I only use unscented laundry products. I can't stand to be around people that stink to high heaven from those awful laundry scents. Blech!
I only use unscented All and Nellie's, and only wool dryer balls in the dryer, no fabric softener at all. I don't know if it's true or not, but I read somewhere a while ago that beef fat is used in fabric softeners and that grossed me out. Who wants beef fat on their clothes? The dryer balls work just fine, and they actually help reduce the drying time with all the fluffing they do.

The synthetic fragrance is so overwhelming I have to hold my nose when I go down the laundry aisle it stinks so bad.
I also only use unscented products. Enough with the synthetic harmful chemicals in the products we use?
I use Tide Free & ? whatever it's called. I use vinegar as fabric softener.

I have actually smelled, inside my home, fabric softeners coming from inside of neighbors' homes.

I can smell the neighbors laundry products when I go outside. Pretty bad you can't sit outside while they are doing laundry unless you want to smell that stinky stuff.
DH came in one day asking me if that's what he was smelling outside. I went outside & said yes. LOL!!!
