LOL Sooner. I do actually enjoy setting a pretty table and cooking a special meal. But most importantly I want room for lots of food!

One might wonder, in the absence of staff to serve and remove dishes, whether setting a table in this way might work with a meal being served buffet style...

But thinking even more on this question, as each diner took a dinner, salad or bread plate from the table to the buffet to serve himself, the table might not look so pretty and guests might have some trouble finding room to put the filled plates back on the table to eat.

I think it's pretty but not practical. Happy Thanksgiving!
