Sorry to be the 'odd man out' on this one, but to my eye, this is not a formally set table.  Rather, it is an overdone arrangement of spare parts.

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.

Beautiful!   The "antique" bowl holding the flower arrangement reminds me of 2 antique chamberpots I acquired when I was in Surry, England visiting my sister 20 yrs ago.  She used chamberpots for decorating and I loved the look. She knew every antique place to visit and helped me find my pots and some lace pieces that are used at many small windows there; I put it up on my bathroom window. I use the chamberpots for flowers and fruit...and they are absolutely gorgeous!

Not my style at all. Way too formal. Too many things cluttering the table for a comfortable meal to take place.

I love an ornate table setting, and the individual pieces in this one are lovely.

I like most of the pieces. The whole, as is the case with many of VPH's tables, leaves me wondering where does the food go?
