There are some with wood bases, mirrored base and others.  Shipping seems high though and they accept Paypal.

lucy, I think we've been looking in the same places.  The ones in your first pic are the most sensible shape to hold the bell and I like them better than most of the ones I'm finding.  I've even searched for jewelry trees, trying to find something stable enough and a little unique.  Not much luck.

Not sure what color, style, etc. ornament stands you are looking for but I bought 3 of these last week at a local hospital gift shop. They are very nice, large and quite sturdy and they were $5 each. I looked online for them and I found this website. It looks like you can order from them even though they are wholesale. Just thought I would mention it.

@SHOPR, I had no idea that there could be so many flimsy ornament stands in so many websites.  LOL  We'll find something even if we have to paint it to get the color we want.  I just want a goldtone, I think.

Re: Ornament Stands

@mallemo, Thanks for the pic.  Good find.  I really like that one better than most I'm finding, and I think it might work.  I'm a little leery of unfamiliar websites, so I'm undecided.

@lucymo,  I even tried searching for used or vintage ones, and there just isn't much out there besides the thin plainer ones.  My snowman bell should arrive today.  I still like the idea of putting it in a lantern, raised up a little and surrounded by some greenery of some kind.

@SHOPR, I got my snowman bell yesterday.  Mine seems to be fine, beautiful in fact.  The gift box is nice if I want to give it as a gift but I don't see that happening.  :-) I'm looking forward to getting the Cardinal as it seems to be even more detailed than the snowman one.  I really don't want to pay more for a stand than I did for the bell.  I also have a lot of glass hurricanes and apothecary jars so I may check out something with some of them too.  I like your lantern idea too.
