Heck, buy a broom and go as yourself.

say it isn't soooooo...luckily I don't really watch QVC but I do like to watch a few beauty shows and I just remember in the July of last year all the way through until Christmas it seemed like every other week was ""christmas in July"" or ""Christmas gifts"". Crazy!!

I wouldn't mind CIJ if the Q didn't use that as their jump off point to start the Christmas holiday season. By the time Christmas gets here I'm so very tired of hearing about it - and not just with the Q.
Of course, I don't really want to hear about Christmas until after Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday). I'll even take not hearing about it until after Halloween frankly but that seems to be too much to ask.

Hi Kzeks, I'm with you. I shop all year and need to be finished with gifts so I can spend November and December decorating and cooking for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Hallmark Channel has been advertising their Countdown to Christmas programming for at least a month now.

I saw this for the first time yesterday! The only problem, is Hallmark has gone to making almost all romance movies for Christmas. I wish they would go back and do some like they used to for the Hallmark Hall of Fame type movies. The romance thing is getting really old. I'd rather see more like "A Dog Named Christmas" and "Christmas in Canaan", "A Christmas Visitor", and movies that have more to them than just romance. Not that I'm against romance! I just think they have had some great movies where the romance isn't the main focus, but now almost everything that comes out for Christmas from them, is a romance, and they are getting rather hokey sometimes.

Well then, I could start decorating early, we still have about four foot mounds of snow around here. Winter is not over yet where we live. I don't even want to think about Christmas, we don't even have Spring weather yet.
