The refrigerator looks like that because of the camera angle. My sister has one that is like the fridge in the picture. Sub-Zero, Whirlpool and other brands make them. The freezer is on the left and the fridge is on the right. Each side is the size of a large fridge & freezer. It
comes in two parts, I believe.

What came to my mind looking at this - First I have a large family and use 2 refrigerators and a freezer I could use this.  Second - my kids would still open the refrigerator and say there is NOTHING to eat.  LOL.

We had a set like that in a past house.  The units are built-in depth so not nearly as deep as a stand-alone unit.  I miss having larger produce drawers and the extra freezer space for cook-ahead meals.  My current unit is tiny so I had to change the way I shop and cook.

Re: One Large Refrigerator

[ Edited ]

That is a commercial fridge, so the owner is probably in catering or some other food-related business. It is huge, but looks like the kitchen has nplenty of room for it. It would take a lot of power to keep that thing going. Could be a deal-breaker or a selling point for a prospective buyer.

I was thinking that even though it's a large refrigerator, the photo may have been taken at an angle that makes it look much larger than it really is.

I doubt it's as wide as it appears in the photo.

The perspective is off.  I have the 32" fridge & 32" freezer side by side in my kitchen.  The freezer is full btw and plenty of room in the fridge.

Saves putting a spare fridge in many people's garages which do drain energy.

It is a luxury if you have the space and we designed our home to accomodate this feature.

No Thanks, unless you have one gigantic family!

My friend has a large commercial size refrigerator which she loves...but not nearly as big as this one.

As long as I can thaw a 25 lb turkey, and keep a bottle of white zin cold, I'm good.
