Happy house wife, you might want to get those A/c's checked. They should be able to keep your home 20 degrees cooler than the outside air. Just had mine relaced last year and this is what the company told me. I live in TX. so we live will really hot and humid weather so we really use our A/C alot. Just a thought.

I can't believe I grew up without air conditioning!

I live in Northern Va. It was over 90 degrees today with humidity off of the wall.

Tomorrow it is going to be a lot worse!

I don't mind (don't like it, but don't go crazy) heat, but humidity.....I absolutely hate, hate humidity!!

I don't mind the Winter, but the summer heat, I hate it.

It's hotter in the summertime now since we were kids. We never had AC either in SE Pa. when I was a kid. I went through an Air Force school the summer of '64 and lived in an unairconditioned building in Amarillo, Tx and never thought anything of it.

High 80's low 90's with summer in Florida's typical thunderstorm and drenching rain. We've had years of drought and water restrictions but the last couple of years have been wet. Not always in the right season, but wet{#emotions_dlg.blush}

I am not going to complain after the winter we had. Bring on the heat. We have a/c if we need it, but it's not on yet. Bring on Summer.

I have not turned on the air conditioner yet this year (much to my husband's displeasure {#emotions_dlg.mad}). It seems like once we flip that switch, it is on for months on end and I miss having the windows open.
