I read once that millenials dont use a top sheet.

How do you all feel about no sheets at all, just a blanket. And about no top sheet.

@OhioAngel  It is dirty unless you wash it at least every week!  And I will add that I don't sweat at night as some have suggested.  Most of the year I sleep with a sheet only and the room at a very cool temp.  I am not sweating, I am on the cold side. . . just the way I like it!

I think it is piggish to sleep on a bed with no removal cover of some sort that is washable...be it sheets, a mattress pad or even a blanket.

Everything your bare skin touches while you are sleeping should be washable.

i can't imagine the smell over time....I have seen the visual results out at the curb many times.  I would be embarrassed to let anyone see a mattress like that even if it was outside waiting for the garbage man.

I use a top sheet, but as long as a blanket or other covering was washable, I see no reason to use a top sheet if you don't find them comfortable.

If this guy had a mattress pad and used it in place of the bottom sheet, I'd only cringe a bit (assuming he washed it). If he slept directly on the mattress, well that's just gross.

Cotton sheets for me.  Top, bottom, and mattress protector always in use.  I have the most incredible sheets in many colors that feel so good.  I enjoy changing the color palette on a regular basis.

I use cotton woven blankets in the warm months because of the way they breathe.  I have them in many colors too.   In colder months I prefer light quilts and medium acrylic blankets of which I have all sorts of colors and patterns to choose from.   I actually like a microfiber quilt in cold weather, tend to be softer (than all cotton) with a cozy warm, not hot, feel.

No comforters in my household.  I never met a comforter that didn't make me swelter underneath.  Plus they won't fit in my topload washer.

I have a mattress pad protector, top and bottom sheet and comforter.....And I wash all frequently

Yes,  I NEED my comfy, cozy, high thread count sheets---finally found some that are very nice and I still have top sheets from 40 years ago that are the best in the world, like sheets used to be.

Well, I would be more interested in how often this millennial launders his bed linens. To me, I am grossed-out by people who go to bed without showering/bathing; taking to bed all of the transient dirt/germs they came into contact with during the day.  Yuck!

No sheets on a bed - just a bare mattress, always make me think of poverty, neglect or a crime scene.

We use a fitted bottom sheet but we use a DUVET over our down comforter.  I cannot stand a loose top sheet!  It never stays in place, etc. A DUVET (cover) is perfect for us.  It gets washed along with the fitted sheet and pillow cases and it keeps the down comforter cleaner than just a loose sheet because it's covered on all surfaces.  QVC never has them. And you usually cann't buy just a fitted sheet, it always is in a set with all the other things I don't need or use.  So everything gets bought separately (Expensive that  way)
