Another perfect pic!  and decor...I hate to say it ... but I will (in jest) I look at your pics (and your home) and I want to get all new fresh decor and colors.

i must say -- every pic is beautiful and the decor you select is even nicer!  You should go into interior designing and photography...

I aspire to be you someday!!! lol!!! (or better yet I'll hire you to redo my house since you live not to far from me!  I can get a consult next week since I'll be over in Venice Beach for the week).  Woman Happy

ps:  good luck on your project I'm sure it will be perfect!  And its so nice how much you enjoy your home!

@homedecor1  Thank you for such a generous comment.

I love taking pictures and resisted for many years.....my husband is from a family of professional photoghaphers and he often comments that he created a monster. My camera is a part of me.

I love taking pictures even more than design.

@homedecor1  Are you speaking of Venice Beach in Florida?  There is one in Southern California.

@froggy  After the kitchen was enlarged and remodeled, I did exactly that, went overboard on roosters and hens, lol, then I got interested in the metal.  If roosters could lay eggs, I would be in business, LOL.

Do either of you remember Tatouage on HSN? I still have two roosters on the narrow strip of wall above my pantry double doors.

@froggy  I think vaguely, if it was in the last ten years.  That must look very nice. Smiley Happy  I have two hens on a shelf, shelf sitters, looking down on the other shelves of foul, and the eyes on one are hysterical, as if she is rolling them at the sight of so many, lol.

Re: New Rooster and New Project

@Regal Bee, love your new rooster, looks perfect there.
Hope the re-do goes by quickly for you. I am not a patient person, this type of thing drives me nuts, lol. Are you adding a powder room also, or maybe that was someone else who wanted to re-do and add a powder or changing room for swimmers to use.

@Snicks1  It was me...........we are not doing this right now. The HOA probably will not allow it.....we'll see.

Thank you.

Re: New Rooster and New Project

I like that rooster.

I like roosters in the kitchen also. I have large sized ones - one is weathered brown metal with a greenish aged wash on some of the highs and lows and the other is also metal but is full of color and detail. Nice way of bringing color into the kitchen - there are so many around to choose from, I could probably go a little rooster crazy, but will stick with the two.

@froggy- I had a Tatouage scene in my entryway.  I think it was a wisteria tree, birdbath and flowers.  It's long been painted over.  I thought they were well done for what they were.
