I purchased the TS on HSN a few weeks ago of the Nellie's laundry soda and dryer balls.  I was hesitant, but figured if I can save money (which when retired you are always trying to do), I would give it a try.  I have to say I just love it!   The clothes feel and smell fresh and are soft.  The dryer balls fluff the clothes as they dry, not too noisy.  I don't miss the smell of Downey, especially after them showing the residue it leaves on your clothes - less chemicals around me the better.  Hopefully, for around $30 I won't be buying laundry detergent and Downey for a year at 2 loads a week.

I love Nellie's too. My clothes have never been so soft. Another thing to mention- the dryer balls seem to reduce the time in the dryer. Saves on the electric bill.

I have a few bottles of detergent and didn't want to buy anymore. But thanks for posting. I will order it next time.

I ordered this, too.  I like the dryer balls..it seems like the clothes dry faster,  as for the detergent...I've had to set aside a few things to be washed with Tide.  I haven't tried the stain remover yet.

I also ordered Nellie's detergent in the tin, but haven't used it yet.  I'm happy to hear of your good reviews.

Jet dot com has the 100-load tin for $18.  Search "laundry soda". Jet's search engine won't show it otherwise.Woman Happy

Didnt Qvc used to sell little golf ball looking things that you could use to wash clothes? This had to be 10 years ago.

I have tried Nellie's and really don't understand the appeal to this laundry detergent. I bought it, used it and didn't notice a difference in anything. I'm back to just buying my detergent from the grocery store (free shipping) and not falling for the hype. JMO

I bought Nellie's at Marshall's.  Good price.  I love it.  I do not have the dryer balls--probably should get them too.  Also, so much easier than lugging those heavy bottles of liquid detergent.
