Best Vacuum Recommendation to Handle LOTS of Pet Hair?

I am starting to shop for a new vacuum. I have 2 cats and would love one that is great for animal hair! Would appreciate any and all thoughts!

I have 2 dogs - I swear by Shark - I've heard several people say it is better than the Dyson and cheaper!

Check out V33663 which is the one I have & V33909. Both come w/all the bellsl & whistles.

We have 3 cats and now 1 little dog. Hubby bought the Shark Navigator Lift Away when it was a QVC TSV. I think it's V33881 and I see that right now it's on clearance for just under $200.

The thing sucks up the equivilent of one cat every time he vacuums our living room! I swear I don't know where it all comes from.

Add my vote for a Shark. My dog sheds excessively, and the cannister is full after doing a few rooms. Glad that I don't have to deal with a bag filling up with all of that dog hair.
