@QVCisFun , I was taken with that wrapping-paper-as- decor idea too!
"Centsationalstyle" is another good blogger. Even "Sincerely Marie" did a blue version of her staircase foyer, but it was in some past year. I thought her incorporation of grapes was effective. She often does something interesting, whether wrapping paper, or grapes... just unexpected little touches...

@QVCisFun , or maybe the "grapes" are just berries? Now I'm not sure....

Ha, ha, @QVCisFun , so entertaining and very true! I think if you have a natural curiosity about things, and seek out answers, it can sometimes be overwhelming with all the variations and surprises that are out there.
Wow, my beloved raspberries are not really berries.... they would probably be my favorite fruit, if you didn't have to wash and inspect so carefully each raspberry's little hollow so as not to get any unwanted insect rude awakenings...

What a beautifully balanced home. I love the black and white stairs, especially the added shape on the side of each stair. The two ribbons on the step's greenery give just a touch of brightness.
The wonderful texture of the knitted stockings are so rich. I want a scarf like that!
It seems she is trying to lean more to texture than color but uses both elements. I don't think I have ever seen a completely covered coffee table. The tree with the bright sparkle of gold and red pull the eye. It's interesting that she decorated with rolls of Christmas paper next to the little table. I really like the arm chair next too the chest.
I really like the upholstered wing back dining room and kitchen chairs. The light kitchen and bedroom give a gentle flow through the house. I would prefer a toned down red to the use of rust.
The fresh greenery in this house would have me unable to breathe with my allergies but it's beautiful!

@ECBG , great detailed points! I like that your knowing eye gives a nod to texture in the decor; to me, it's the key to keeping a room interesting, whether neutral or not. It's not muted colors that make a room dull-- it's the flatness that occurs when every surface and texture is monotonously the same, I believe...

very nice @Oznell it was fun to see the "before" and then the after. I like that small secretary table in the first photo and like you, I think the Nutcracker theme on the table is so interesting.
it's all lovely thanks for sharing the photos.
