I loved the look of them on TV and on the Web site. I hope I like them (blue TSV) as much when I get them home. I also ordered an As Is set of the three different-sized globes. I got those in the White/Silver.

I'm looking at these as a Spring/Summer outdoor decoration. I plan to use on my covered porch but hang them in the tree off our deck when we entertain some evenings. I'm excited to use the twinkling option!!

BTW, I don't think I've ever bought VPH before so I have no idea what the quality will be like. Also, I don't have any other Mercury glass so that will be a first too.

LOL, I guess she likes the "stir the pot"!

I am not a fan of these either, but that's just me! I did like the mercury glass candle holders by Valerie, then I read in the reviews that they were "plastic" not glass! Is that really true???

I don't mind the mercury glass. But, I could see going overboard with it.

The problem with this mercury glass is that it is such poor quality.

I would like to see some thing, anything, like Valerie made in the past. A quality product. I see so little of that now.

I think many people would be willing to pay for more quality products.

For those of you who think these look like junk....have you've seen them in person? I doubt it. I like quality items, don't like clutter, don't care for girly or cutesy things inside my home, & I adore the spheres. I own 3 colors, & I leave the amber out year-round on my fireplace (I place them on top of pottery vases- looks gorgeous). I know present day mercury glass isn't the same quality as it was, but I'm still loving these. They're magical, warm, & inviting.

I'm happy with the new set of 3 size....very easy to decorate with. I never put mine outside, so I'm not sure how or if they survive the elements. I say keep them coming!

i have a couple pieces of Valerie's, but not really in love with them. I guess I am guilty of just not willing to pack up and send back. I have the mercury glass candle holders that light up. What a battery eater and not very good quality. I don't put batteries in them anymore. As of noon today the TSV had sold something over 20,000. That doesn't sound like a lot to me as popular as her stuff seems to be. As one poster mentioned you can buy this stuff everywhere. I guess I am at the point in my life where I am so done with dust collectors and finding places to store all the stuff. Oh oh given away my age!!!!!

I have the spheres in amber, blue, purple, and pink. I use them in different areas, the smallest purple as a night light. One person's junk is another person's treasure. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I certainly hope you are not speaking to me. I have the 3 different size spheres. And yes they are poor quality. For those that do not know there are gouges and nicks on the outside (not the places the light is supposed to shine through) and these show the light and are rough to the touch. I just put them out for Easter. This is the first I have used them so they are not old used items.

Don't assume that someone that doesn't care for the quality of something doesn't have it. I just like a higher quality product.
