@cbrite, I really like your door.  It does remind me of when I was a kid ...

I know what you mean about fresh air...that was the first thing we did when we moved into this house 3 years ago, was put a screen door on the front door...

Mine has a half screen on top, you can open/close,  and a solid panel on the bottom, ... I wanted one like that so I didn't feel like the neighbors were looking in at me...but it goes nicely with the style of our house...

I love having the door open for extra light and air....and to hear/see the birds singing outside in my big shade  tree...

This door is just like the door we had on our old cottage before knocking it down. Loved that "door slammer"!

Yes, I really like it.   When the glass is lowered the screen rolls into place and vice/versa..the glass is stored in the lower door panel ... it works great...and I would replace it if something happened to it..
