It was really hard but my handyman guy did it for not a lot of money... I've had no screen on that door and needed fresh air. The issue has been, a past bf, who was a wood worker, rebuilt my barn, and nothing is a normal size. I loved it many years ago, but now it's a pitb... I did not want to have one built to fit my door with an arch at the top. This one from Home Depot worked out. It's cedar and I'll stain it or paint it, not sure.... I just wanted fresh air. It's sort of cute I think. I have 7 doors here...I had to put security doors on 2 of them. 🙄

it's very nice @cbrite, I like it. A whole lot nicer than mine on the front. I wish i had another. Right now I'm using some cheap netting hanging over the kitchen door for more fresh air since It's been so hot. It's finally going to get cooler tomorrow!

Love this! It's going to be beautiful whether you choose to stain or paint. 

I always wanted one of these more Victorian type screen doors. Just looking at yours, I can hear the 'swack' of it slamming shut, and it takes me back to days gone by!

It's beautiful.  You have excellent taste.  Just a few months ago a friend put up my new screen door.  I've only had it in my garage for ummm.....maybe 7 years?  Ha!

Anyway, mine is plain and your's is much prettier.  Love it!

Mine is on my back screen porch.  I don't go out there much, but I should.  At least my cats like to sit and watch the birds.

@cbrite don't worry! I close the door before I go to bed so I don't get any unwelcome visitors! I can just see me waking up in the morning with a possum making itself at home. 😬

gosh, that reminds me of the woman who ushered in a racoon at night, thinking it was her cat!   It was a commercial about glasses or contacts.

@KitTkat @software Well, I bought a new bed few years back (2012?)...sleep # thingy... first night, me and my dog Lucky, crawled in to zzzz........all cozy like..then KAA PLOP.. my dog goes after 'something' which dropped in from above my art cabinets, from my ceiling 😳...... I could not find the light switch...honestly....IT ran back to the art cabinet and jumped up high to the top, knocking off paint cans... and went out...... unharmed thankfully....I think it was a squirrel......I never slept in that bed again....I live in the mystery spot 😓...jeez... Me and squirrels 4 ever, lol.....👍
