I think it all looks great! Thanks for sharing your photos. I like the mantel with all the different items. I have a problem with thinking everything needs to be all matched up so mine usually is not that interesting. I need to get over that! Love the jar with the pastel eggs and the egg wreath. Is that two bunny item on the easel a plate or plaque? It looks vintage and that's really pretty.

Thank you, mallemo. I'm almost certain that I got the bunny picture several years ago at either Collections or Terry's Village, at a closeout price. It is made like a 1-inch wrapped canvas print, but it is more paper-like in texture. It is the only bunny item that I have with a b&w bunny.

For so many years I always wanted everything symmetrical, too. It seems like once I decided to stop doing that, I have a hard time going back to symmetrical, at least on my mantel. I can't explain why! Can't wait to see what you've done for Easter if you decide to share pics this year.

I forgot to add that I ordered some unpainted bisque figurines from an Ebay seller--two kinds of bunnies and a hen and peeps. I'm going to paint the bunnies chocolate and my GD, who is more artistic than I, will do the hen and peeps in multiple colors. They are out for delivery. I've been wanting a "chocolate" bunny figurine for so long.

Nana5, That sounds like fun! Let us know how the painting turns out. I bought a couple of chocolate resin bunnies a few years ago. Unfortunately, they don't show up well against my dark walls--I sometimes feel like I'm in a cave. I keep saying I am going to paint the walls a light color, but other more important things keep getting in the way. One day!

I love them SHOPR - LOVE that egg wreath!! Can I ask where you got it? as well as the loose eggs in pic #6 with the foil bunny and flowers? Believe it or not, it is so hard to find pretty eggs like that.

I just noticed the blue bird in pic #1. I just got a yellow one at Michaels recently that looks familiar!

Kel, The egg wreath is from CVS Pharmacy a few years back. I did see a similar one at Walmart last week for $12.97. It had a mixture of small and much bigger pastel speckled eggs, with the grapevine running throughout. The loose eggs inside the wire jar are from Walmart, $2.97 a box. I used two boxes in the wire jar in the photo.

Yes, the blue bird on the mantel is Ashland collection from Michael's, from a few years ago. I didn't know that Michael's was still selling them in a similar style, but I'm glad they are. I'd like to have a couple more.
