The first and last images are red Azaleas

that grow by the back door.

Next is the French Lilacs at the base of the hill, below the Lily of The Valley.

The lavender colored Flox grow along the wall at the other side of the house.

The bleeding Hearts grow above the Lilacs, by the front of the house. There are three bushes of them along the front walkway.

There are a few more flowers that have recently been potted or planted. When they fill out more, I will post pictures.

Our forsythia is first to bloom and then flowering quince:  Speaking of forsythia spoken of as posies:  when you see the bright yellow posies, it's time to take out your secuters and prune your roses

@Enufstuff, What a stunning garden you have.  I am loving the variety of your large and mature plantings.  My DH, like yours,

takes care of our plantings.  Our one Lilac is about to peak, and I am very excited.  And I will follow your directions of getting the stems ready for placing in a vase.

Just thought I would mention that I have a small amount of Amazonite jewelry I love.  I have a very heavy cuff bracelet I will be giving to my DIL.  I am still not ready to part with the pendant, a large stone and silver piece.  Not in style so much, with the trend to small and dainty pieces.  But I think I will wear it regardless.  I love this stone as much as my turquoise.

Thank you for sharing your picture.  And what a sweet reminder of your mother to wear her diamond.  She was so young when you lost her.  I cannot imagine.

All my best to you.
