p.s.  The mirrors probably reflect more lamp light into the room.

Bit of overkill  - would not be very relaxing for me.  Do not like the lamps in front of mirrors - not keen on style of night stands all too much.

I like this room.  The only thing that stands out as something I would avoid is the run on top of the rug.  Doubled up rugs never stay in place, and it can be pretty easy to take a header over one that has a puckered edge.
