Yes, but some of us are short and can't reach when they are located above the Stove - that is why mine is on my counter top.

I have had my microwave over my electric stove for over 20 years (3  microwaves) with no problems..it is vented to the outside.  I have a smaller kitchen & can't waste counter space.

Thank you all. I decided to move it and Im really happy with where it is now on the counter that has the dishwasher below it.  Smiley Very Happy   I have a ton of counter space. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tried it in the corner area but didnt like that at all Man LOL
