Evine has a Top Value today of microfiber sheets for under $20.

I don't see many reviews at all on their microfiber sheets in general, and what is there really isn't very good.

Anybody have any input on these sheets, the brand, and the material.

I could use some inexpensive sheets for my kid's room, but don't want them to pill or ride off the bed every night.

Thanks for any input.

Hi,

I was just at Evine and did a search on Evine for the name of the company selling the Sheets on the special value.   I had many reviews to read.   I hope this is of some assistance to you.

Have a great week.

Re: Microfiber sheets, any input?

I have a few sets of microfiber sheets and I love them.  I've purchased them from QVC, HSN and Evine.  They are super easy to take care of and I had no pilling issues with them at all but then I wash my sheets separately.  I don't put them in with anything that could cause friction, thus pilling.

I will say this.  I like Evine and purchase a lot from them but I will not purchase bedding from them anymore.  I have not had good luck recently.  In the past, I highly touted their linens.  I bought a few high thread count sheet sets and had great luck with them.

Last year I bought a top value (inexpensive) set of Cozelle microfiber sheets and I kept them because it wasn't worth sending back but I use them for my dog.  I believe the decorative edging that was supposed to go along the top edge of the flat sheet was sewn on the wrong part of the sheet.  If I put the flat sheet on with the edging at the head of the bed, the sides of the sheet are way too short and the sheet is abnormally long.  But if I turn the sheet so the edging goes along the side, the sheet fits properly.  LOL

I also ordered a Cozelle mattress pad and the backing completely frayed and fell apart after less than 1 year.

I also ordered other Cozelle sheets I sent back because they were ill-fitting and the elastic was super loose and/or gave way the first time I put them on the bed.

I've had much better luck with the Concierge Collection sheets on HSN.

Re: Microfiber sheets, any input?

I can't say about those sheets. I have both microfiber and microfleece sheets and there can be a big difference between brands. The microfiber sheets I have are soft and sueded on one side and more like satin on the other side. The soft sueded side feels soft on my skin and feels warmer than the satin-like side. The satin-like side has a sheen to it and doesn't warm as quickly. I always make the bed with the fitted sheet sueded side up and sometimes alternate the flat sheet. I prefer the sueded side most of the time, but sometimes when it's very hot, I like the cooler, satin-like side against my skin.

I like that they wash easily and feel so soft, yet are much less expensive than my 750 thread count cotton sheets, which are also very soft.

I have some Malden Mills PolarFleece microfiber sheets that are wonderful, but I recently got some by another brand and they were different. They were plushier, but that also meant they pilled and matted more. I much prefer the Malden Mills sheets.

Re: Microfiber sheets, any input?

Love love love microfiber sheets and now won't use anything else!  I gave away all my cotton sheets to Goodwill and never looked back.  I have purchased from both Evine and HSN and love all the sets I have purchased.  I find them silky smooth, cool to the touch and mine have never pilled.

I realize I'm taking a risk here, but I decided to go for it and bought a few sets.  DH and I will be upgrading from a Queen to King size bed this spring/summer.  I figured these would be good enough to at least get us started.  I bought one of the add-on comforters too.

@gardenman  My feelings exactly! Love them year round!

They are a great price from the brick and mortar stores.  I may get a few sets for my home also but will wait and see what my DD's want if they don't see out before they get in.   The price is so low, it will not be a huge loss if I don't like them.

Re: Microfiber sheets, any input?

I got a set don't remember from where but along with pilling there was so much static from the polyester that I was very uncomfortable.  I know they're popular and inexpensive but I plan to stick to all cotton or preferably a poly cotton blend.

Re: Microfiber sheets, any input?

Well, thanks everyone for the replies, but my decision was made for me.

I spent several hours this morning trying to choose new curtains for the main floor of the house, and when I came back, the only color I wanted was sold out!

I'll live! The curtains were a much bigger and pressing issue than the sheets.

Funny that this would come up because I bought a set of microfiber sheets from Evine and I put them on the bed yesterday.  They were so inexpensive that in my mind I wa sure they would be junk.  I was sooooooo wrong.  They are soft and silky and luxurious feeling and the color is rich.  I don't know if all microfiber sheets are like mine but I will definitely buy  more.  I also liked that the Evine set came with two sets of pillow cases.  I only  recently started back with Evine and that sheet set made it worth while.
