Haven't been there (or any other craft store) since weeks before Christmas.

I had to go today to get a small glue gun.  I loved the new section of birdcages, lanterns and home decor. I'm not sure what the brand of them are but they are 40% off. I was tempted to buy another lantern but I resisted.

The country French colors work well in my home. Lots of distressed/whitewashed items, blues, yellows and pastels.

I was there today too.  LOL

It was so refreshing to see non-holiday items.

The bad thing is there is a Home Goods a few stores down.  Smiley Happy

We lost our Michaels a number of years ago. I miss it!

I haven't gone to check it out yet, but a new Home Goods store just opened near me. It's right next to Hobby Lobby. That could be dangerous !😊

I love Michaels! I've gotten a lot of small seasonal decor accents there. And you can almost always get a sale there.

I primarily shop Michaels as Ladybug does for sensibly priced seasonal decor accents.  Those little seasonal touches are very lovely in the home.  I would not do this if not for being able to do so at a remarkable budget-conscious price by shopping at Michaels.

I also like the greeting card and gift wrapping supplies section at my local Michaels.  It's my first stop when I need this type of item.  It's not my thing, but some of the crafty things are so inspiring I've even made cards and party favors/decorations from materials sold there.  Being an apartment dweller who never has enough storage space, I've come to appreciate their decorative storage containers/boxes.  Being pretty makes it ok if the box is in plain sight.   I suppose it's fair to say I'm a big fan of Michaels Woman Very Happy.
