Re: Maybe it's time for a little Industrial fix? It's been a while...

I really like these...some more than others. My favorites are 1, 6, 9 and 11 with some tweaking. It's funny how we perceive things. A few people commented how cold these looked and I find them cozy, warm and inviting.

I do like lofts, but tend to like them somewhat softer, and more influenced by the Parisian aspect that you mention, @faeriemoon .

I find #6 to be interesting, since it seems more eclectic.  It has almost a flavor to me of a 'dark academia' direction.

The comfortable leather furniture, moody walls, oversized vintage art photography, and weathered cabinets, appeal to me.  The trunks bring in the world-traveller vibe-- I think they just went a bit overboard with trunks here, but one or two would be great.

It's the most soulful and evocative room to me.

@Oznell I like the softer look too; sometimes Industrial can be too stark and the rooms feel incomplete. Funny story about those trunks you like in #6; I have three of them in my living room. They're from RH I bought them several years ago.

Wow, @faeriemoon ,  those cool trunks are from RH?   I would have thought they were European vintage-sourced.  Lucky you!

I really like most of these rooms. I find them warm and inviting  and not cold at all.

The only thing I dislike is the hanging light fixtures in the 1st picture.

I think all these rooms are very well done.

I enjoy loft and converted industrial spaces, especially those with a bit of exposed old brick. Most of these find me appreciating the spaces more than the decor. While there are some exceptions and some piece I like, most of them skew too modern for me. Were I ever to have a loft, I'd enjoy decorating it against type, to some extent anyway.

I do not care for the industrial look at all.  None of the rooms appeal to me.

I thought I'd like industrial, however, not a fan of these. Cat Indifferent

All of these rooms are exceptionally well done.  I liked some better than others, several rooms were cosy!

It seems the fading of upholstery in these homes would be an issue; I'm sure I couldn't get warm enough if I lived on a loft.

Many thanks for an interesting post.
