Re: Margaritaville Home

@jellyBEAN  I'd never heard the not very flattering descriptor 'snout house' either until someone on these boards described their home as such, so I looked it up. There's actually a Wickipedia entry about them... Mr. Buffet's houses, not all of which are snout houses, appear to have some decorative appeal above and beyond the average...

Wow, I learn something every day!  Never heard this term before. Thanks for the explanation.   Got to agree with you that style wouldn't be my cup of tea.

@shoesnbags Smiley Very Happy It pays to be careful though. A friend of mine just recently bought a snout house and when I referred to it as such she took offense. I explained it wasn't a judgment but a legitimate name for that style house. I think she still has her nose out of joint. Hey, she'll either get over it or she won't. I didn't coin the phrase after all. Smiley Happy

Ha ha! I have to admit that the name "snout house" makes me think of a pig.  Oink!

Are these winners expected to pack up all their possessions and move? I'm pretty sure that I'd not want to do that.

That is one prize I would like to win. We would like to move to FL anyway.

I'm sure there may be other options if you don't want the house - maybe cash.
