Re: MORE GLIMPSES OF FALL ...

Since the color, for the most part is "quieter, these vignette become studies in interesting texture.

What a lovely table setting!  I do like china with a pattern, and your silver is beautiful.  I would enjoy a grilled cheese dinner in your artful dining room!

Re: MORE GLIMPSES OF FALL ...

Loved looking at these! Very pretty vignettes.

It's still in the 90s here so I haven't done much fall decorating yet. I did put a sunflower table cloth on my dining table. Was tired of looking at the one with lemons.

I will put out some of my autumn decorations when it gets cooler. Supposed to be in the 70s next week so maybe then.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Oznell, you find some of the best! I love each and everyone but I have to agree (as I am a fool about blue&white) that the blue & white containing fall flora is the best of them all but I would love to have any and all of them if I had the place.  I do have a wreath on my front door that would be compatible.  It has the aged white pumpkins, etc. I found some beautiful beauty berry (faux) at Hobby Lobby and comingled it with some real and some faux eucalyptus and "real" popcorn tree branches for my rice basket. No orange pumpkins this year.

Thank you all for such on-point comments, and for your descriptions of your own varied autumn schemes.  I really enjoyed reading them!

@Marsha2003 ,  wow, and thanks for adding your picture of your beautiful, richly appointed table setting!  Hey, I sometimes use those terms, including just "wine" for the color burgundy.  Had forgotten "merlot" which rolls off the tongue so nicely!

@Marsha2003 ,  I meant to ask you, is your silver pattern "Francis I" by Reed and Barton?  I couldn't quite tell from the photo.  A friend of mine had that pattern, and it is so intricate and lovely.
