I cancelled my order of the TSV yesterday : ( In the spot outside, where I wanted to use it, I am hoping for a full-sized candle. Also, I like the looks of the Heritage style in slate.  If anyone received that color, does the finish have antiquing at all? My red Heritage style seems to have some depth to the finish. Maybe I perceive depth due to the fact that there are curved surfaces. They are not just painted a flat all-over color?

@LTT1 I have the Heritage in Slate, and the finish is not antiqued.  It is the same color all over in a matte finish.  It was a good buy, and it has great battery life.  To me, it has more of a grey than a turquoise feel, but everyone sees it a little different.

@LTT1, I agree with @RazorSharp about the finish and color of the Heritage slate lantern.  It's definitely not a bold color.  The bit of gray-ness it has really tones down the blue-green in a good way, in my opinion. 

I would not be surprised at all to see the Heritage restocked in Slate and other colors, because of the way they were shown on set yesterday and mentioned during a presentation by Jill.  She did a quick side by side comparison of the two lanterns, and I don't think QVC would've even wanted the Heritage on the set if it was on its way out.

Glad to hear this, but how dumb on Q's part. We could have been using those all this time, and now they probably won't be in homes until close to August.

Sometimes I wonder who's turn it is to use the brain today at QVC!

The slate is a beautiful color but unfortunately does not fit into my decor.  I ordered two of the coral to fit into a white bookcase.  I will probably order the navy for CIJ.  I scored a great deal on three very large red lanterns on Amazon after Christmas but I do need to get candles for them.

Do you think the newest ones (the Hudsons) will have enough light since they use votive-size candles? Your decorating sounds beautiful!

I don't think they will give much light but I think the coral ones in the white bookcase will give a good splash of color (the sofa in that room has coral and green throw pillows).  The navy I wanted because that is an unusual color for a lantern - maybe it will be offered also in bigger sizes.
