I've noticed that some hosts share pictures of their homes with us, and I think that is a very nice thing for them to do. Her kitchen has a very comfortable feel.

To me, it's just ok, but not a style that I like at all. The cabinets are nice, but I don't like the color of them. Also don't care for the sink and have never likes stainless appliances.

Understated, yet elegant. Perfect.

It's a lovely kitchen. Were I doing one from scratch it probably wouldn't be hers, but that's what it's all about! We all follow our own decorating dreams... Very nicely done and I love the stone arch at the doorway.

It seems like a happy place. Love a window over the sink. I couldn't handle a kitchen that didn't have windows!

puppy lips, we have a septic tank also. You wouldn't want all that kitchen waste going into septic. I don't know if it would do any harm other than filling it up quicker.

I suppose you are right. I don't put much down our sink anyway. In my last house, that did not have a septic, the kitchen sink/disposal clogged so easily. I got so fed up with it that I finally stopped putting anything down there. That habit has carried over to this house too. Of course that is my habit, not my husband's. So I end up sticking my hand down there and pulling out all the cut up vegetables & such. Such is life!
