These loft style apartments are very appealing in appearance but impractical in so many ways.  I wouldn't even attempt those stairs.

I think lofts are one of the coolest things, as far as a place to live.  Talk about being able to freely express yourself!!  I love the freedom of openess.

I like the look of this one except of course for the stairs (dangerous) and the metal chandelier.  Personally, I don't think I could live in one.  Maybe if I lived in a large city with space at a premium and was younger, I would choose a loft for the space - could never live in crampted city apartment, so a loft would be a good alternative

I lived in a lofted townhouse. There was absolutely NO privacy and it was very noisy throughout. Never again.
