Looking For a Humidifer

I've been reading many reviews on a humidier as we need one for our bedroom. I have yet to find one anywhere on-line, including the Q, that gets a great review. There are so many pros and cons to each one. Could anyone recommend one that doesn't leave a white powder on the furniture, won't need a replacement filter, doesn't puddle beneath the unit, and easy to clean, no slime, etc. Does it exist, we've been through many.
