Absolutely...except darker green wood, prefer dark brown, and replace chair with comfy Chippendale. Oriental rug.

I am not a big fan of the Library Room in a home but this small nook works. I personally would like a paler distressed green paint on the bookcases.

I don’t care for the look even though I love green. The books on the upper shelves are out of reach.

Why would anyone paint over wood in a library? It's done now, but that green is dark and drab. Nice library that needs a celery green, a pretty wool or oriental rug, and either a wing back chair or a chair with matching footstool. The chair in the picture is not a comfy reading chair. I'd also change the dated window treatments.
