I forgot to mention, I have enough lanterns, too, but would probably give in to temptation over the one in the OP! That is why I keep the picture on hand... Also for inspiration re: decorating with what I have!

Thanks @LTT1 for filling me in on what took place.  It's good that you were careful and didn't email, just in case.  I have saved the picture on PInterest, but like you have seen, it just links back to an unavailable Facebook page.  It is very pretty, but I'm over it.  LOL.

@SHOPR, I also have lanterns, too many actually as I don't have places to display them (got a bit carried away buying them a couple years ago), so I recently gave 2 to a granddaughter, she loved them.

What do you think they used for the tiny lights on the inside? Looks like a lighted branch? Makes me giggle a bit because my son was working retail. He came home flabbergasted that they were selling a stick, a regular backyard looking kind of stick. And someone bought it for $25.

For about 40 years I have owned an antique ship's oil lantern. It is brass but very tarnished so looks like antiqued bronze. It does still work and we keep it on the lanai as decor and use when we want to entertain out there after dark. I am thinking I will decorate it for the holidays this year. Just some basic greenery and maybe a poinsettia or two. Funny I've had it all this time and now they are so trendy.

Have never looked closely until today... I think you are right!  They used tiny mini-lights (battery operated?) over a pretty little TWIG they found in their yard!!!

Your lantern sounds like a prize and I'm sure they don't make those like they used to!  I'm sure it would be pretty decorated as a focal point... won't you please post a pic if you can?

We have a beautiful solid wood coffee grinder ... it is really so pretty and it just sits in another room taking up space... I wish I could get excited about decorating with it!

I bet some of the posters here would have fabulous ideas on how to decorate with that coffee grinder. I am jealous of you owning that - usually they are made of beautiful wood like oak or walnut, and stained very dark.

Thank you... I think the wood is maple... I will admit that the wood is truly beautiful...
