This is a home, not a  cabin.  It's decor is more formal than I would like for a cabin.   

It feels like a regular suburban home that is planted next to a lake.   Lovely as it is, it;s too formal for me and I really don't care for the striped lamps and all those plaids. 

I envision a cabin as being a bit more rustic and a summer house kind of place.  This is definitely a full-time residence feel.

@stevieb Now that's my kind of cabin! She's a beauty, love the big windows and stone fireplaces and kitchen and and.... but would buy it for the rounded top front door alone.....that door is everything! Ohhh, that door and the whole entrance for that matter.....

Wow, just beautiful!  I'd spend half of my fall days on that screened in porch!  Thanks for sharing, @stevieb.  Every room is better than the next.

This would be perfect in any setting, mountains, lakeside, bayview, ocean town or suburbia anytown USA.

I don't see anything wrong with it and wouldn't consider it too formal, tbh.

Yeah I agree with the others that this is not really a cabin but a home on a lake. It's very pretty and I would take it in a heartbeat but, of course, I'd have to tweak and change out a few things here and there.

Very pretty!!!  I spent many summers at our summer home up the road from the lake.  Many friends had lake front homes . I must say not one of the cabins looked like this home but they were all warm and cozy especially the log cabins.  They were warm, cozy and fit the mountain and lake environment, I prefer that .

Very pretty cabin, but I'm not a lake person.  I do like this little house though!  A lot!
