I absolutely love Scentsy wax melts.  However I was in TJ Maxx a few days ago and purchased Poisoned Apple from Home Worx.  I am burning it now in my room.  It smells lovely.  Notes are glazed candy apple, roasted pear, white musk, and forest woods.  My nose is picking up the apple. A warm fregrance to my nose.

I don't use Harry's candles anymore.  I found that the scent doesn't last and the candles burn down very fast.  He says they last for hours and I didn't find that to be true.  I have been using Cheerful Giver.  They last longer and their scent is much stronger than Harry's.

Magic Potion from Home Worx purchased at Marshall's.  Unfortunately not much throw from this one.  Just finished Crisp Apple Cider also from Home Worx and purchased at Marshall's.  Loved that crisp apple smell.

@sunshine 919.  The Slatkin candle I bought during CIJ last year must have been poisoned something because it was definitely toxic.

Within 5 minutes of lighting it I was sniffling and sneezing with running eyes like I had the worst cold.  I could hardly breathe.  I extinguished it and was fine after I cleared out the scent.  Never have been sensitive to scent in my life.

I'll never buy another Slatkin Candle.

Enjoy your candle @sunshine 919. I was gifted a Better Homes & Garden Farm Apple & Pumpkin with a wood wick...I'm burning it right now, has a nice apple smell. Scent notes: apple, pumpkin, cinnamon, orange, maple butter.

I am loyal to A Cheerful Giver jar candles.

A couple of months ago we adopted a new kitten 🐈‍⬛. She was a barn kitten and was still learning the house rules.  One day she hopped up where I had a candle burning and she was completely oblivious to it.  As I noticed her tail slowly pass over the top, I envisioned the possibility of her going up in flames.  I blew out the candle and ordered a warming lamp.  It works really well and she hasn't gone near it since.

Great observation! You are a good kitty mom @JeanLouiseFinch. I love tart burners for this very reason. Do you know if the Cheerful Giver jar candles fit in a standard large candle warmers like the largest Village Candles?

@We rescue cats - Thank you. I'm not 100% certain of the Village jar style, but I'm guessing similar to Yankee jars?  A Cheerful Giver jars are wider so I'm doubtful if they would fit.
