It's beautiful but just a tad too light and airy for my taste.  I'd probably paint one of the walls in plum as an accent wall.  The two large chandeliers would have to re replaced.

The larger view of the space is showing pretty rooms but the entire space has a coldness that I don't like.

The plum works but the black paint, black furniture, white floor rug and arched bookcases do not work.

I think I would of incorporated a bit of the plum color

iin objects on the shelves though, making it less overall white.

 

Other than that, it is a nice space.

GORGEOUS ROOM.  Not a fan of what is on the shelves on both sides of the fireplace.  The room is beautiful as is but I think I would love it even more with a black floor.

The plum chairs are fabulous!
