Hi Lucy: I think you did a great job. You'll have plenty of time to craft the perfect snowman theme for Christmas. Enjoy it.

JPC: Just saw your "wave out" so I'm waving back!! Hope all went well with the quilting club. DH is doing his lecture to our local club on Monday. He's really looking forward to it. Told him to scout out the goods while he's there. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}. He just shook his head at me.

Have a good day y'all.

Hi MTH,

Quilt club went good and quilt show over so now maybe I can catch up here at home and get some of my projects done. I think we did good at the quilt show. Attendance was good and I think overall with the quilt auction, food, raffle quilt and the show we took in over $3300.00. So I consider it a success.

I'll bet you hubby will have a good time Monday. Be sure to report back how it went. Can't imagine why he would shake his head when asked just that one little request to scout out the goods. I sure hope you meant quilts and not the ladies{#emotions_dlg.lol}

Have a good one and hope things slow down at work so you can spend more time with us here.

JPC

Good morning, JPC. Glad to see your quilt show was a success. $3300 is a good profit for one day! Countless hours of work by many people were put in, I would imagine, but it was for a good cause.

Love your sense of humor with MTH, above!

I like your idea of a reality show called "Out of Control QVC Shoppers", and think it would be a hit!

Hi rosehill,

The quilt show ran 2 1/2 days but you are right about countless hours of work by many people. Couldn't be done without lots of good helpers.

Do you want to be in our cast for out reality show rosehill??? I think we can find parts for all here.

Hi JPC: $3300 was a great day. Congrats!! I finally got some help at work so things should be quieting down at least a little. Boy was it hard to find someone who wanted to work. Crazy!! I wish you cold have seen what came in for an interview. I was baffled, but I finally find someone who is working out great. Hopefully, I'll be able to be around a bit more. Looking forward to that as the holiday season gets rolling and lots of good decorating ideas come up.

I'll report back after Monday's lecture by DH.

{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}So funny, DREAMON. The initial rude post that caused all the commotion yesterday is thankfully gone. Now the rest of the replies don't make much sense. Anyway, who cares who presents an item. Let's just be glad that QVC offers us some nice home decor items every now and then.

JPC, I'm glad the quilt show went well. It does take a lot of help to make those events successful. Bet you had a good time doing it.

MTH, good to see you on here and hopefully, your new hire will work out and you can have some much needed time for you.

You betcha, the "Out Of Control QVC Shoppers" will be the biggest hit of the season. Sure will be a big cast. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I didn't see the rude post but only here could negativity be found in a poor little innocent cloche{#emotions_dlg.blink}.

O/T but just saw these nice cloches on a google image search. World Market:

I saw these in my local world market. They are substantial. The base is really heavy glass. The mercury glass look is similar to Valerie's things. The dome was air blown with random bubbles. The small one was really petite and seemed to look gold, not silver.
