hopeQ1, no I didn't post the picture to start a contest, just interested in what others are doing with theirs. I enjoy doing a lot of crafts and I certainly didn't mean to upset anyone. I'm not offended by other's comments or opinions, we all have our likes and dislikes. I had cloches before Lisa sold these, so no, she didn't start the trend. I did post the picture since so many bought hers though. Have a nice evening, everyone.

I love your decorated cloche. I haven't done mine yet. I'm holding off on fall decor until October. I still love my summer stuff. Some of these anti-cloche posters are starting to make me feel like I'm a member of a weird cult. LOL. I think they are very pretty.

Hi Lucy: I think you did a great job. You'll have plenty of time to craft the perfect snowman theme for Christmas. Enjoy it.

JPC: Just saw your "wave out" so I'm waving back!! Hope all went well with the quilting club. DH is doing his lecture to our local club on Monday. He's really looking forward to it. Told him to scout out the goods while he's there. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}. He just shook his head at me.

Have a good day y'all.

Hi MTH,

Quilt club went good and quilt show over so now maybe I can catch up here at home and get some of my projects done. I think we did good at the quilt show. Attendance was good and I think overall with the quilt auction, food, raffle quilt and the show we took in over $3300.00. So I consider it a success.

I'll bet you hubby will have a good time Monday. Be sure to report back how it went. Can't imagine why he would shake his head when asked just that one little request to scout out the goods. I sure hope you meant quilts and not the ladies{#emotions_dlg.lol}

Have a good one and hope things slow down at work so you can spend more time with us here.

Hi misschristy,

I haven't decorated mine yet either, just put in one of Valeries mini GB houses in it.

Nope you aren't a memeber of a cult, just a great group of posters who like to help others out and share.

I think we need to make our own reality show and could call outselves the "Out Of Control QVC Shoppers" since the hoarders is already taken.{#emotions_dlg.lol}

Have a good day and have fun decorating you cloche.

Re: LISA R'S CLOCHE DECORATED.

very cute Lucymo. Thanks for sharing the picture.Haven't had a chance to decorate mine. Looking forward to getting back home and taking my witches out of storage. I'm so late this year. Think I'm going to do a witch theme in my cloche, then change it to harvest after Halloween. Can't wait to get busy decorating.

This one has only a 7" diameter so have to keep the scene small enough that the dome will go over it. I traced around the bottom of the dome on a piece of paper and everything has to fit within that circle. My Lisa white owls from last year wouldn't fit, just too big. I have one with a much larger diameter for my snowman scene that I'll do later. Have fun with yours.

You did a beautiful job decorating it! I enjoy seeing how other people decorate their homes for the different seasons. I might even find a few great ideas to try out for my house!

Thanks. I really like that we can bounce ideas off each other here and learn things to make decorating easier. Hope your day is good.

Good morning, JPC. Glad to see your quilt show was a success. $3300 is a good profit for one day! Countless hours of work by many people were put in, I would imagine, but it was for a good cause.

Love your sense of humor with MTH, above!

I like your idea of a reality show called "Out of Control QVC Shoppers", and think it would be a hit!

This is a fun group of posters who share ideas and have a good time with it. We all find something good in everything, well right now, it's cloches. Later we'll get into other things and that will be fun too. Have fun with your cloche.
