I think it's a beautiful kitchen. Love the skylight and the brick looking wall.

But please, don't store your wine up high like that where it gets warm. Smiley Happy

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Hi @lolakimono  I chose navy for the lower cabinets of my new kitchen & ivory cabinets for uppers. One upper has glass doors. My wood floors are medium to dark, so I was worried that all navy would be too dark. I switched out my backsplash to a Bohemian type blue & ivory with bits of gray & off-white patterned tile, and the countertops are off-white quartz with a little gray veining. I did a single large metallic gray Blanco sink & simple brushed nickel handles. It was so hard to envision in my mind and pick choices from Zooms.

I won't get counter stools until I get there because idk if I want blue metal ones, industrial steel color metal ones, or  ivory wooden stools with dark wood seats.

For the window above the sink, I bought ivory lace tiers for the top & navy tailored tiers for the bottom.

My SIL went to the decorator office (2,500 miles from me) and sent pics of what she thought I should get. Her feathers may get ruffled when she sees what I've chosen. Yikes. Lol

Idk how it will all look, but I've always had blue in my kitchen and will in the new place, my forever home.

Re: Kitchen in Blues

[ Edited ]

It's a work of art, @lolakimono

I would be pretty happy in that kitchen, even though I normally gravitate toward a cottagey look.

Maybe I could have a scaled-down version. Hmmm.

BTW, I think the color is perfect and not too dark at all. That room has so much light that dark cabinets are a happy choice.

Enjoy what I'm assuming is a day off for you! Heart

All the elements of your kitchen sound stunning, @Desert Lily

I hope you'll share photos when it's ready.

@GingerPeach  Hi, I'll share pics if the kitchen turns out cohesive, or if it doesn't turn out I could post pics to make it a learning experience to share. Lol.

And, I'll probably want opinions on what type of stools to get.

When I read opening title  I assumed that I would not like the kitchen, but I also like this blue with this kitchen.

It works for me.

I like it but I'm not a fan of the exposed spices and containers of food.

I prefer to store wine where I can reach it.

Does that sink look small?
