Re: Kitchen in Blues

[ Edited ]

I really like this kitchen. I would change the Dining Table and Chairs to a larger distressed table and very comfy looking chairs to give the room more warmth and comfort.

I have seen on Flip or Flop, where they have used a darker color-let's say on top, and then balance it out by using white or gray on the lowers, and it looked very nive, maybe thats what they should have tried here.

Although it is very pretty and I really like that shade of blue, I do think its a bit much..

I like this shade of blue but I'd prefer a little deeper/richer blue....closer to a navy.  I'd also tweak a few things here and there.

I can't get past the twigs/leaves DIRECTLY OVER THE STOVE!!! Staged obviously with the "just so" towel, accessories & perfectly lined up pans of faux or real food, etc. but NO to the obvious fire hazards!!

I do like the navy color  and the kitchen is very inviting.  I prefer wood cabinets but this kitchen with the navy cabinets does have appeal for me.

The problem I have with this kitchen is that it isn't mine, and is  definitely out of reach.

The peg hook idea is one I might steal when/if I recover from my lassitude. Otherwise, I'll just dream on and save these pics to my great kitchens folder.
