Re: Kitchen Trash Can

[ Edited ]

@FlowerBear - I feel your pain. There is absolutely no place at all to "hide" my trash and recycling bins in my kitchen, so I've learned to just accept them as part of the arrangement. Mine are tall, narrow white plastic bins with foot pedals and tight-fitting lids; I push them up parallel against one small wall when they're not in use, so they're mostly out of the way.

I've actually decided over the years that it is handy to have them out and easy to access, and I've had guests tell me they appreciated being able to find them without needing to ask about them. Someday I might upgrade to stainless steel versions, but interestingly enough, I've learned that I'm extremely picky about the size of the openings of trash cans, so I have not yet found anything worth upgrading to...  Smiley Wink

@FlowerBear I have a slim plastic one that fits perfectly under my kitchen sink.
