Do you like idea for a music lover or do you cringe when you see an instrument repurposed?

Gotta say no to this one.

As a former violin player, I have to cringe a little.
My dear father in law had a painted blue violin mounted on black velvet framed on the wall.
I wanted to set it free every time I saw it.

Rather than see it dismantled I would like to see the old warn guitar hanging on the wall or sitting upright in a corner.

i wouldn't want it in my house, but for the right person, it's kinda perfect.

If it was a guitar themed room, yes. For general storage, no.

Not good.

Not to knock anyone's decorating style because that's a very objective subject, but with regard to an instrument being used in this manner I will say no. If the owner had no more use for the guitar as an instrument (or perhaps came into it and does not play), I would prefer to see any musical instrument donated, repaired, and lovingly played by someone.

Maybe the guitar was damaged and irrepairable.
Personally, I wouldn't decorate with anything like that; but it's cute.
