We had lunch at a new BBQ restaurant in a strip mall. I saw lots of people going in to a store near by named "Kirlands". I had never heard of it before and was curious. When I got home I went to their site and it looks as though they have some really nice things for the home.
Has anyone shopped at Kirlands? Is it similar to Home Goods? Thought I would check it out this weekend but wanted to get your opinions.
Thank you.

Ours just went out of business after only a couple of years. Went in once and wasn't too impressed. Kind of like Pier 1 and priced a little too high for what it is.... I was looking for furniture but they have imported furnishings and smalls (China).... no clothing. I don't miss it.....

It is similar to Home goods. I have some of my favorite things from Kirklands.

I love that store. Always found some interesting and unusual things. I would say yes it is about the same as Home Goods.

Oh yes that's one of my favorite home stores. You must visit!

We have several Kirkland's but I have not shopped there in years...mostly due to it's location inside the mall. We have one in a nearby city now that you can park in front and shop...they have some great deals but seemed too cluttered to me when I visited.

I have furnished part of my new apt. With Kirklands. Shabby Chic, Farm House and Country. Very beautiful, classy merchandise. Upscale merchandise with excellent prices.

I like Kirklands too but I don't think it's at all like Home Goods. Home Goods is much larger and has a greater variety of home type items. At least in my neck of the woods (Arizona) Kirklands is more of a "decor" store and less of a "home furnishings" store.
