@Puzzle Piece.  It was j7st a picture I found online.  It had no identification or artist listed.  I did a screen shot, edited it to clean up the edges and sent it to one of those places that do photo to canvas prints.  In 3 days it arrived at my door 18 X 24" stretched on canvas for $28. + s&h, ready to hang.

You can do the same with any picture that strikes your fancy.  The finished product looks like an original painting.   Cheap way to decorate.

@Puzzle Piece,

After I saw @Kachina624,s picture i thought yes that is what I need to look for. I wanted a photograph so I started looking for posters and found a great site-

Great Big Canvas

They have photos, paintings,posters, everything you can imagine-landscapes, animals, classics, famous artists, you can choose a color scheme, a place and get it as a canvas, poster, framed or matted etc. I found one I loved and then got a poster frame from Amazon. I loved this one-Mourning doves in snow-

@Puggywuggy.  Right now it's hanging in the living room where I wanted something bright and springy.  I'll move it to the kitchen later.
