Re: June Flowers

@Enufstuff   Your husband is a great gardener Smiley Happy! He's a stuntman too with his use of a tall ladder at 86 years old and gardening late into a hot day.  He seems be the type of guy who wants to see a gardening project through until its done perfectly, no matter how long it takes or how hot the day is. Has he tried the cooling towels that are sometimes showcased on QVC Smiley Happy? They have a fiber technology that holds onto ice water and the towels can be warn around the neck to cool people down when they're outside on a hot day.

The pink hibiscus would also be such a pretty nail color- I'll see if Essie or OPI have a similar color Smiley Happy

Beautiful flowers!  Irises will always be special to me because they were my mother's favorite flower.  Before we sold her house after her passing, both my sister and I dug up some of the her beautiful iris bulbs and planted them in our own flower beds as a wonderful remembrance of her.

@Enufstuff,  alt at all surprised to see pictures of your glorious gardens!  And your door arrangements are so beautiful!

As I have mentioned before to you, my DH and your DH could be brothers.  Except your variety of flowers and colors are so spectacular.  Yes, I try to keep my 83 year-old in check. But  he loves the outdoors and our home.

We do have several birdhouses here, two of which were made by the the Amish.  A couple simple style for bluebirds.  All on poles.  To keep bears and other critters away from them, my DH sprinkles wolf urine around the bases.  It works!  And Amazon sells wolf urine!  Who knew!

Enjoy your heavenly garden!

Beautiful!!! I've not planted much in the way of blooms this year. The plant budget for trees and shrubs since we filled in the pool last year and had huge empty area. I put up one hanging basket and my beloved heliotrope . . . so at least it smells good and I can enjoy your photos!
