@SportyShorty07

     Hi Louise,

Thanks for reminding me about the cooling towels. I bought some from the Q, more than 20 years ago.

I don't remember what happened to them. I think that I will try to order some for my husband, if they are still available.

Last week, I got a new OPI nail color. It is Strawberry Margarita.

It is a similar tone of pink as the Hibiscus, but a shade or two

darker. I just did my nails about an hour ago and the color looks a little darker than it looks in the bottle.

I'm going to look up the cooling towels.

                                                Thanks,

                                                        Donna

@Enufstuff  You're welcome, Donna! The cooling towels from QVC are the MISSION brand cooling towels and they come with a hat. Amazon sells a lot of cooling towels in multi packs too- Tough Outdoors cooling towels seems to be one of their top sellers.  OPI Strawberry Margarita is very pretty- I own it and use it on my toes! I bet you look great in the Strawberry Margarita nail color Smiley Happy

@SportyShorty07   I just ordered the set of blue cooling towels.

Those are not the ones that they sold, years ago.

I hope that he will use them.

I bought him a nice hat like the ones shown. I probably paid $50.00 for it in a shop in Maine. He wanted to get it.

He doesn't bother to wear it. He has only used it a few times, over the past 7 years. He does not bother with sunscreen or sunglasses either.  Smiley Sad

Today, I did my toes too, I like my fingernails to match. That OPI color must look lovely on you. It's a nice bright Summer color.

I live in my Birkenstocks and would never go out without color on my toes.

My middle daughter gets a Summer French pedicure. I don't see the point and I think that it is unattractive. It just looks like colorless nails . Okay on fingernails, but I think that

toes look better with color, when wearing sandals.

Of course, I don't tell her that. They are her feet. But if she ever asked me, I would tell her what I think.

@Enufstuff  The cooling towels are great and I think he will use them, especially since they're light weigh, they'll keep him cool while he's gardening and he'll forget he's even wearing them. I think that sometimes guys like to tough out hot days- but its important for them to take breaks, stay hydrated and stay cool.  Oh yes, the Strawberry Margarita is a very lovely color! I also match my manicure and pedicure Smiley Happy.  I love a french manicure, but I've never done a french pedicure before.  I've seen some celebrities with french pedicures at awards shows sometimes.  Bright nail colors make me happy Smiley Happy

@PamfromCT   That is so nice, that you have bird houses.

Do the birds actually make nests in them?

I've never seen a Bluebird, just Blue Jays.

That would be so neat to see, especially with

                       babies in their nest.

Today, I took pictures of the flowers on the other side of the house and will post those soon.

Did you happen to see Toni in her Shirley Temple dress?  The heading is "Toni in Summer Theatre".

In a couple of days, I'll post Toni for 4th of

                         July.

Bitterssweet vines ,are just terrible we had a huge old tree  in  the land we bought years ago ,that was totally killed by them, people here like to makev wreaths out of it, no way for me.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

@goldensrbest   We have Bittersweet vines growing along the back of my house and the back of my garage.

I like it, but it does grow very fast in June and July. It needs

weekly trimming. I think that it looks pretty in the fall with all

the orange berries. I like the greenery in the spring and summer.

In the winter, the birds, especially the Robins like to eat the berries.

It is unfortunate that it killed your tree.
