He's got a new mermaid figurine out but it's too costly for my budget.  When I first bought JS here at the Q his figurines were often under 20.00 and not over 25.00.  Now this new Merriest Mermaid figurine is 45.00.  So long JS for me.

I may be wrong....but i believe QVC sets the prices....sad that they may lose your purchases of Jim  Shore items

Unfortunately the collectibles market has tanked.   I know Zulily has JS once in awhile but overall, unless you really have to have it, don't plan your retirement on any collectibles.

@newname0  check amazon or jim shore's site directly.  Amazon has it for under $35 right now.

@newname0 I think it depends on the size of the piece. The mermaid is very pretty, hadn’t seen it before. I have several JS pieces and among them several cats. Maybe Hallmark still carries them too.

I stand corrected.  I looked it up on Amazon.  It is 17.1 x 19.1 x 19.2" and is 1.39 lbs.

Whew.  Where would you put something like that.  Also it was listed at 34.36.  JS' own website has it for 45.00 though.  Thanks for all your comments.
