My house has been officially "de-Chrismassed."  On the inside, that is.  Outside lights will come down this weekend.

Color me bad. My tree is still up. It's so pretty I can't bear to take it down. I have put away most of the Christmas type decorations, but have left winter decor out. My dh said to leave the tree up as long as I want, so...............tee hee...........

Several years ago we decorated the outside of our house along with the inside tree.  I can't remember if I was lazy or busy, but we didn't take anything down for quite a while after Christmas. My DH's BD is Feb. 8th.  We (me and the kids) had all the lights and tree lit when Dh came home from work in honor of his BD.  LOL

Mine is still up but it's always been a tradition to take it down on my birthday weekend which is this weekend so over this 3 days weekend the house will get back to normal except some snowmen which I will leave out for the duration of winter.

Well mine is still standing but all the ornaments are off ready to go back to the basement for repacking.  This is the job I hate because I end up getting ocd and start to reorganize all my Christmas stuff.  (I have 6 large storage bins)  We had a rare warm day yesterday so I took down the outside stuff.

Our tree is still up and is still being enjoyed daily.   No plans to take it down anytime soon.
