I don’t like this. I’m not a fan of the exterior changes or the interior black & white design. The elements added to the exterior look just that - added. They don’t seem to work together seamlessly to me.

@wilma  I get your drift. While I do think the reno turned out relatively nicely, I took another look at the exterior 'before' and wondered if such an extensive renovation was really necessary to update what was already a nice little 'rambler'. It seemed to me that the extent to which they tricked out the house, while I find it appealing, was maybe a bit overkill... The revised landscaping is, for me, an epic fail. They took a nice shady front yard and stripped it down to a bunch of unremarkable, too small shrubs... As for the interior, overall and despite some appealing elements, as already noted, I just don't care for what they did...

WOW I LOVE the beautiful remodel of the outside!!!--except I agree about the landscaping would have left shrubs and the tree, and I'm not fond of the inside, I just dont care for the black/white scheme throughout the house and its a bit too modern in style for me.........

@jubilant

It's a mostly beautiful remodel.  Such a drastic change from the original home.

That front porch is gorgeous & love the roof lines.  Kitchen is very nice, so is the master bath.  The dining table is very nice, light wood & well-built.

I dislike the livingroom & all the brass fixtures throughout the home.  To me, it's so overdone with the brass & I feel like it's only trendy.  None of the other rooms appeal to me.
